Beautiful stock certificate from the Duck Creek Petroleum Company issued in 1865. The company was incorporated in the State of New York. This historic document has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an oil well and an IRS Tax Stamp affixed to the front. The certificate was issued to Egbert Guernsey. This item is hand signed by the Company's President, Thomas Gardiner and Secretary and is over 149 years old. Excellent condition.
