Beautifully engraved RARE unissued certificate from the Jersey City, Hoboken and Rutherford Electric Railway Company printed in the 1890's. This historic document was printed by Baldwin & Gleason Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an electric train. This item is over 107 years old. We know of two of these certificate and believe they are quite rare.
Certificate Vignette Jersey City Hoboken & Rutherford Electric Railway Co. was incorporated 1893 and leased for 999 years to the New Jersey Electric Railway Co. The length of track was 18.57 miles.
