Beautiful certificate #52 from the Mercer Mining and Manufacturing Company issued in 1869. This historic document was printed by Henry Selbert & Bros. and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of steam engine passing men minning. This item is hand signed by the Company's President ( Thomas H. Wells) and Treasurer and is over 141 years old. Civil War era tax stamp affixed to certificate.
