Beautiful certificate from the Merchants & Manufacturers Bank of Newark issued in 1872. This historic document was printed by Wilbur & Hastings Stationers and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of the New Jersey State Seal. This item has the signatures of the Company's President and Secretary and is over 145 years old. This certificate also has an imprinted Internal Revenue tax stamp on its face. Pen cancelled.
