Beautifully engraved early certificate from the Montgomery Ward & Co. issued in 1927. This historic document was printed by American Bank Note Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of two women sitting holding a child with the company logo between them. This item is hand signed by the Company's Vice-President and Assistant Secretary and is over 82 years old. Small split in upper left margin as shown in scan, otherwise VF.
Certificate Vignette Montgomery Ward was an American department store, founded as the world's first mail order business in 1872 by Aaron Montgomery Ward, and shut down due to bankruptcy in 2000.
