Beautifully engraved unissued certificate from the New Brunswick City Railroad Company issued in the 1880's. This historic document was printed by Homer Lee Bank Note Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a horse railroad car. This item is over 117 years old. This is the first time we have seen this for sale and beleive it is quite rare.
Certificate Vignette The company had 4 miles of track, owned 26 horses and 6 cars in operation.
