Beautiful RARE certificate from the North of Scotland Steam Packet Company issued in 1856. This historic document has an a vignette of a steam ship and smaller sailing ship at sea. This item has the signatures of the Company's Chairman and Manager and is over 157 years old. There is an embossed corporate seal with a small piece missing as can be seen in the scan. This is the first time we have had this early steam packet company certificate for sale.
