Moore's Gelatin Pill Coater presently at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. 1890 The Norwich Pharmacal Company is incorporated. 1919 Company's product Bismosal is renamed Pepto-Bismol 1939 Norwich Pharmacal stock listed on New York Stock Exchange. 1969 The company merged with Morton International, Inc., forming a new corporation, Morton-Norwich Products, Inc. 1982 Company now called Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals, wholly owned subsidiary of the Procter & Gamble Company.
