Beautiful certificate from the Trend Magazine Publishing Company issued in 1911. This historic document was printed by the American Bank Note Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of the Capitol. This item has the original signatures of the Company's President, and Treasurer, and is over 102 years old.
Certificate Vignette The Bookseller, Newsdealer and Stationer, Volume 34 - 1911 The newest comer in the magazine field is The Trend, a monthly periodical published by The Trend Magazine Publishing Co., 43 Cedar street, New York. The policy of the periodical is to appeal to the general reader, and give to those readers freeless, frank articles and independent editorials based on the highest motives. Studies of passing and passed events, and great problems under discussion will be regular features. Light literature, a dramatic department, biographical sketches, short stories, the American opera season, political articles, poems, etc., are all to be found within its well printed pages. It is profusely illustrated with two pages in tint, sepia effect. The April number is the initial number, and an attractive one it is. Price 15c.
