Beautifully engraved certificate from the Alaska Mines Securities Co. issued in 1909. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of men working a placer mine. This item is hand signed by the Company's President ( S. Silverman ) and Secretary and is over 106 years old. The certificate was issued to Henry Gerkin, Jr and endorsed by him on the verso.
