Beautifully engraved certificate from the Alturas - Senate Mining Co. issued in 1887. This historic document has an ornate border around it. This item is hand signed by the Company's President ( Lewis Edwards )and Secretary ( Henry Weston ) and is over 127 years old. The certificate was issued to John C. Barron. The company was incorporated in New York and had mining operations in Alturas County, Idaho.
