Beautifully engraved certificate from the Cleveland Welding Company issued in 1930. This historic document was printed by American Bank Note Company and has an ornate border around it with the company's name on top center. This item is hand signed by the Company's President (C. S. Holden ) and Secretary and is over 75 years old. The Cleveland Welding Company built some of the most outstanding bicycles of the late 30s through the 1950s, often out sold Schwinn and had superior quality bicycles. In 1936, the Roadmaster Bicycles were first introduced by the Cleveland Welding Company. Their features, assembly technology, quality, design and ride were among the highest and best in the industry. In 1951, the Cleveland Welding Company merged the Junior Toy Company.
