Beautiful certificate from the Corona Typewriter Company issued in 1923. This historic document was printed by American Banknote Company and has an
ornate border around it with a vignette of an original Corona Typewriter. This item has the signatures of the Company's President and Secretary and is over 100 years old.

Standard Typewriting Company began production of the Corona in 1912. In 1919, the company had changed its name to Corona Typewriter Company and was the leading maker of portable typewriters.
In 1926 the Corona factory merged with the L.C. Smith Typewriter Company to form the Smith-Corona company.
