Beautiful uncancelled stock certificate from the Cross-Cut Silver Mining Company issued in 1888. This historic document was printed by the W. J. Morgan & Co. Lith, Cleveland, Ohio and has an ornate border around it with three vignettes. The first vignette is the largest, located on the top-center of the certificate. It shows two Grecian woman sitting on either side of a goddess with a factory in the distance on the left and a pyramids to the right. The second vignette is on the certificate's side, and it displays minors digging in the depths of the earth. The last vignette is of a man lost in thought as he melts down pieces of metal. This item has the handwritten signatures of the Company's President and Secretary, and is over 123 years old.
