Beautifully engraved uncancelled $500 bond certificate from the New York Telegraph Club - City of New York issued in 1890. This historic document was printed by Henry Siebert & Bro. Company and has a border of telegraph poles with an vignette of an early telegraph machine.  Seal of New York State at top left. Signed by company president Edward E. Brannin, Chas. J. Powers as Secretary and John Brant as Treasurer.  Edward F. cummings and Michael J. O'Leary signed on the back as Trustees.

New York Telegraph Club, had over 400 members, all of whom were operators in New York and adjoining cities. 

This item has the signatures of the Company's President, Edward E. Brannin and Secretary, Chas. J. Power and Treasurer, John Brant. The company's headquarters was located at 82 Cortlandt St. in New York. Light water stain in upper right corner. This is the first time we have had this item for sale.
