Beautifully engraved certificate from the Portland Paving Company of Delaware issued in 1891. This historic document has an ornate border with a vignette of two men, one holding a ship and the other holding a musket, standing next to the state seal of Delaware. This item is hand signed by the Company's President ( George W. Bush ) and Secretary and is over 113 years old. The certifcate was issued to James C. Stiles and endorsed by him on the verso.
