Beautifully engraved check from the Clinton National Bank issued in 1889. This historic document was printed by the American Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignettes of allegorical women holding a scale of justice, playing a harp flying while releasing flowers, and sitting overlooking a bay. This item is hand signed by the Company's Cashier and is over 117 years old.
