Beautifully engraved SPECIMEN certificate from the Massachusetts Power and Light Associates. This historic document was printed by the Security Banknote Company in 1931 and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of an allegorical woman holding a light bulb with power plants and oil storage tanks on here side. This item has the printed signatures of the Company's President and Treasurer and is over 71 years old. 
Certificate Vignette The company merged into the New England Electric System in 1947. The New England Electric System is now part of the National Grid Group.
